Gifts for Her

I am the chef in my home and I enjoy nice things in my kitchen that make work easier for me. I also look for quality and low-toxin items. I love my enameled cast iron dutch oven for making soups or large pasta/rice meals, skillet style.

Here is the Lodge dutch oven, for a budget edition.

I love my vitamix blender. It is high powered to turn peanuts into peanut butter, sauces out of cashews, perfectly blended smoothies and acai bowls, and it can make hot soups too. It is worth the investment! Lets not forget that on a hot summer day, it can make the perfect blended margarita for your backyard barbeque.

The Almond Cow is a "milk maker" first and foremost. It makes nut milks withouth preservatives and additives; between that and the stainless steel body it is non-toxic.

But today I also make hot chocoate in it using only 3 natural ingredients: cashews, dates and cacao powder and I could have convinced my husband that it was a Swiss Mix packet, haha!

The new Stanley mug that everyone is raving about. My Dad has been using his old green Stanley Thermos for hunting for probably 35 years. Now that's a quality product.

In moving away from single use plastics, these stasher bags get a lot of use in our house. Silicone is dishwasher friendly so it makes it easy to wash and reuse.

These slippers are made out of wool and leather. No man-made materials here. They form to your feet and have a generous cushiony bottom layer to them.  I want to wear mine everywhere, but I keep them between the front mailbox and the back patio ;)

Here is the outdoor version, wool with rubber in a stylish Chukka boot! Wool is antibacterial and cleans itself. Once mud dries it will basically fall right off, making it a good choice for running around in the winter.

This chapstick is local to me, Oshkosh Wisconsin. I personally love the unscented but there are so many options! Single, 3 pack or variety pack. This would make a great stocking stuffer.

"Since its start, Bee Bella has made an enormous effort to be socially and economically conscious. We source organic ingredients, provide funding to honey bee research, support U.S. manufacturing, never test on animals, and ensure that farmers around the world are treated fairly and work in humane conditions. Each lip balm is also hand poured and crafted by the beekeepers themselves.

When in doubt, everyone loves plants. Especially ones that rarely need to be watered, such as these succulents.

Did you know, Dr Bronners, that we know and love, makes an unscented organic shaving soap!? I hate the smell of shaving cream on my man, it is so toxic. This is a great alternative! And nourishing on the skin. Unlike traditional shaving cream that is white, this one is brown so dont be alarmed ;)
